Green Sananka Academy is a South African non-profit organisation using sport, play, and environmental storytelling to inspire environmental awareness and action.
 
We work with children, youth, and communities to build a generation that is active, informed, and committed to protecting the environment. By combining movement, creativity, and storytelling with learning, we make climate education practical, engaging, and accessible.
Through our programmes, we have:

• Brought environmental education into schools, sports fields, and community spaces

• Led clean-ups, recycling, tree planting, and community-driven green initiatives

• Equipped young people with practical skills to care for their environment

• Used storytelling to share real environmental experiences and inspire action

 
Our campaign, “Let’s Play Green,” captures what we stand for turning everyday play into meaningful climate action.
